Our blended learning allows student to learn at their pace with online 24-hour accessibility. Certified teachers are readily available in class to assist students in achieving content mastery.

We know the available options, we understand the limitations faced by many of our students, and we want to ensure a solid future for them. Since 2015, Ascend Academy Charter High School has empowered, supported, and championed youth when others have given up.

At Ascend, we are there for our students as a support system and as their advocates. With our blended learning model, students learn at their own pace using our online Edmentum curriculum, while having certified teachers in the classrooms, using one-on-one strategies, to help students navigate and master the content.

Our curriculum meets each student at their academic level while challenging them to grow. Our culture is built on empowering youth, believing in them, and challenging them to do their very best.

Our supportive and encouraging environment shows students they have the smarts and are capable of succeeding as long as they apply themselves.

When we ask our students why they are here at Ascend, the number one answer we hear is, “I feel safe.” We have zero tolerance for bullying, and students know they can turn to our teachers and leadership if they ever have a concern.

We’ve also put state-of-the-art security measures in place and have a long-standing positive relationship with the Margate Police Department. Our students, staff and guests have wraparound security that keeps everyone safe, 24 hours a day.
